Infrastructure for Industry 4.0

ProGrow implementation at Simoldes was a remarkable success case and allowed potential gains of 1.5M€. However, this success would not be achieved without a solid technological structure that would allow the development towards Industry 4.0.

Proef's role in this project was to create the necessary infrastructure for automation, interconnecting the various peripherals of the production machines, allowing the passage of signals to a central acquisition system, with the data separated in real-time, allowing the control and monitoring of the peripheral injection equipment. Two hundred twenty machines were interconnected by factories across France, Poland, the Czech Republic, Morocco, and Portugal.
