Uprating Bouça Line – Zêzere 1
On November 4, the unavailability of the line for the remodeling and uprating contract of the Bouça Line – Zêzere 1, at 150kV, ended.
In the 36.6 km extension, 15 supports were replaced, prismatic modules were installed, conductor cables and guard cables were replaced, as well as their cable and chain accessories. This contract presented an excellent challenge for Proef since the line had a short replacement time, requiring excellent planning and execution.
The Proef and EIP consortium result was the uprating of the very high voltage line, which allows for greater longevity.
Environmental responsibility was always present during the works, as all the waste produced was recycled.
